They grow up so fast
Time really does fly….
The newborn and cake smashes are short and sweet. I know that time is precious, and it’s the perfect reason to create timeless photos in the studio. Below are details of the sessions, and what to expect.
Booking the session
To capture new born babies they need to be a 17 days or younger. You will have a chance to pick your choice of colours/props. The session lasts a maximum 2 hours. Not all babies are the same and my job is to make sure mum and dad are relaxing whilst I am creating memories for you. Sometimes things don’t go to plan, and if this is the case we can always reschedule.
If you are expecting a baby soon you can book in as soon as you like. The session is booked a week after the due date as things during the pregnancy doesn’t always go to plan.
To book a payment of £60 booking fee is required to secure your space.
FAQs
Do I need to bring outfits for the baby? No, as a new born photographer I have all the props required, headbands, wraps, cushions. If you wish to bring a sentiment you are more then welcome and this can be included in the shoot.
Can I feed the baby at the session? Of course, wether you are breast feeding or bottle feeding you can feed baby. I cater for you and your babies needs. Please feed baby just before you get here as this is will help and make the most of the session.
My baby is more than 2 weeks old can I still do the new born shoot? I would advise to come back when baby is 6 months old and can do sitter session. When the baby is older than 2 weeks they become a lot more fidgety and a lot more harder to manage for the session.
Can I buy more photos? Yes there is additional charge for more photos.
A Piece of cake
or is it?
Omg these sessions are so fun and only last an hour. I provide the props, outfits and cake.
Please bring a special outfit prior to the shoot to get a variety of images.
It can get messy, I will have wet wipes at hand to clean up, and if you wish to bring extra bits/ cleaning items please do.
Bring snacks and water for your little one as your 1 year old won’t be eating the lot, it is purely just for the photoshoot. If your child has an allergy please advise.
