Liz and Neil - Wedding in Solihull

Liz and Niel- Wedding in Solihull

I had the pleasure for being the Photographer for Liz and Neil's wedding day last month. I cannot express how much I was taken care of as the photographer on their Big day and how relaxed the couple were. When I got to the Ramada Hotel in Solihull Liz was casually relaxing. Her Daughter Beth and the Bridesmaids said that she had been shopping in the morning in Solihull for some foundation, talk about last minute shopping!

Liz’s daughter did her hair and her bridesmaid Natasha did the make up. The final look was absolutely immaculate. The pastel colour theme was so refreshing and the lace wedding dress all tied in well together. Although there were three attempts to tie the Bow on Liz’s dress the final touch was done by the maid of honour Zara, true perfection.

The outfit was so elegant, by Sophie Gray, infused with Ivory bella lace,  and she had used her late mother’s Pashmina. This was a beautiful touch to the pastel themes,  to finish the look with her lace shoes by Lilly.

The Groom, well showed up in a lovely navy blue suit by Paul Costello, London,  and a crisp white shirt by Corsivo.

I was able to take some shots of the details, Bouquet and Button Holes and Corsage all Designed and made by ‘Thats a bit of me’ in Solihull. All lovely pastel colours. If only the sun was out to compliment the theme as the weather slightly on the Grim side in Solihull. But this didn't stop us from getting some shots outdoors. The sun peaked out for about five minutes, just after the Ceremony and drinks and I couldn't be more happy with the natural light and twinkles in the couples eyes.

Liz and Neill didn't want a grand entrance to the wedding meal. They strolled in with everyone, and just enjoyed the day. There was a surprise speech by the Maid of Honour and the Best-man. The evening finished off with the cake cutting ceremony and cake designed and made by, Cakeice, in Astwood Bank. Once this was over, everyone enjoyed the first  dance and the night went on.

All I can say is that this was such a beautiful wedding.  I wish the lovely couple Neil and Liz a long and Happy Marriage.x
