I met the lovely couple Suk and Daveen last year. We got on straight away and talked about pre wedding shoot and also the the full day of their Sikh wedding. We did the photo shoot in Sandwell, West Midlands. The weather added a touch of cozy romance and also a casual feel just as Suk and Daveen wanted.
As I am also a henna artist I had the pleasure to do Daveen's Bridal and Party henna, this allowed her family to get to know me and also felt part of the wedding and really got to capture the day in a relaxed and calm way.
On the wedding day I headed straight to Daveen’s house where she was getting ready, hair and make up done by the lovely Sonu Sarai. The outfit was beautiful for Silons in Birmingham. The details of the dress just takes your breath away.
The Couple had a lovely Sikh wedding at Guru Ka Niwas in Wolverhampton beautifully followed by the Registry that was also done as soon as the couples Lavaan were completed.
The party was spot on with speeches, to ladies milnia, cake cutting ceremony, bhangra performance. To say the least it was a long day and an emotional send off for Daveen from her home where the Doli took place and welcomed in her new family.
